This policy explains what personal information nohandsart.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
No Hands Art is a small independent business making antique-style quote prints and the book Time’s Richest Harvest. We are the data controller for this website. You can reach us at hello@nohandsart.com.
Buying from us
We don’t sell anything directly on this website. Prints are sold through our Etsy shop and the book through Amazon. When you buy there, Etsy or Amazon handle your order and payment under their own privacy policies. For printed posters sold on Etsy, we share your delivery details with our print partner only so your order can be made and sent to you.
Newsletter sign-up
If you join our newsletter, we collect your first name (optional), last name (optional) and email address, along with your consent and the page you signed up on. We use these only to send you occasional emails about new designs and the book, no more than once or twice a month. Our legal basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or writing to hello@nohandsart.com, and we’ll delete your details. We never sell or share your email address.
Emails to us
If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply and deal with your request, and for no other purpose.
Comments
If you leave a comment on a journal post, we store the name, email address and comment you submit, plus your IP address and browser details to help catch spam. Your email address is never shown publicly. Approved comments stay on the post until you ask us to remove them.
Cookies and analytics
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept, reject or choose which cookies to allow. Necessary cookies keep the site working and remember your choice. Analytics cookies are only set if you allow them.
- Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) shows us which pages people visit and how they found us. It does not tell us who you are.
- Jetpack Stats (by Automattic) gives us simple, aggregated visit counts.
You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link on the page, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Other services the site uses
Some images are served through Automattic’s image service (i0.wp.com) and fonts may load from Google Fonts. These services receive your IP address so they can deliver the content to your browser. Links to Etsy and Amazon take you to their sites, where their own privacy policies apply.
How long we keep information
Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request. Comments are kept for as long as the post is online. Analytics data is kept in line with Google’s and Jetpack’s standard retention settings.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@nohandsart.com and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
